The Risk and Compliance Supervisor works directly with the Risk and Compliance Manager to identify, assess, and evaluate risks. This person must be highly skilled and motivated and is looking for a great opportunity with a growing company. We are looking for a driven self-starter, team player, and someone with the experience to jump in!

$25.08 / hour - $27 / hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage and oversee 3-4 Loss Control Team Members by conducting performance reviews

• Monitor and review incident data and escalate when needed. Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance team to create and implement loss control protocols

• Practice de-escalation techniques during stressful interactions with employees and members 

• Maintain working knowledge of emerging security technology and protecting confidential information

• When necessary, assist clubs in accessing and saving video for incidents

• Collaborate with other departments to improve safety and security practices

• Lead and regularly update safety audit questionnaires with Operations evaluations

• Present information and respond to questions from managers in all departments

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3-5 years experience in compliance, safety, and/or security

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace

• Be available for occasional “after-hours” escalated emergencies

• Willing to travel outside of the regional area 1-2 times per year or as needed

• Access to reliable transportation with the ability to travel between properties during the workday as needed

• Previous experience in leading and cultivating a team 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take initiative to investigate and resolve problems using sound judgment

• Essential Physical Requirements

  • Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English

  • Touring the club: walking and climbing stairs

  • Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement 

  • Sitting or standing for long periods 

  • Repetitive phone work

  • Repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger movements

  • Typing and computer operations

  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs

Preferred

• High school graduate or GED 

• Fitness or retail industry experience

• Workers compensation and/or Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) experience
