Cignys, a family owned business, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for performing routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for accounting data including preparing accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports, to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department

Key Finance responsibilities

· Assist with month-end job closings.

· Assist with gross margin reviews.

· Accounts Receivable: Invoice collections.

· Inventory: daily adjustments, team member during companywide inventory.

· Work with Director or Finance with the decision-making process by preparing the annual budget and financial forecasts.

· Performing reconciliation of the balance sheet monthly as well as various accounts.

· Assist in account analysis and account coding.

· Assist with outside audits.

Other duties as assigned.
