Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our team. As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of our facility. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of recreational therapy and dementia care, and a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents. Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to residents - Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staffing, budgeting, and resident care - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and social workers, to create individualized care plans for residents - Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans accordingly - Coordinate and participate in recreational therapy activities to enhance residents' well-being - Ensure that all staff members are properly trained on dementia care techniques and best practices - Monitor the facility's adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, healthcare administration) preferred - Previous experience in a leadership role within an assisted living or memory care facility - Strong knowledge of dementia care principles and best practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams - Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) - Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance requirements Skills: - Recreational therapy - Dementia care - Excellent communication skills - Assisted living - Memory care - Caregiving - ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) - Nursing home regulations - Social work We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth within our organization.
