Expected Starting Salary Range: 37.80 - 47.89 Subfunction DefinitionAre you interested in joining one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country? CCHMC is hiring a Program Manager for our Epic team! In this role, you will act as the central point of contact, supporting, directing, and ensuring the successful delivery of a program and its objectives. These ongoing programs aim to fulfill a mission with no specified end date, involving various functions performed by a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include overseeing routine audits of Epic change control, documenting RCAs, leading performance improvement efforts, presenting quality improvement reports to executive leadership, supporting operational processes within the Epic ecosystem, maintaining Epic certifications and registrations, and ensuring compliance within the clinical application department. Representative ResponsibilitiesProgram Management/Leadership and Education Management
Design and implement broad-scale developmental plans for the program.
Collaborate with leadership to align the program with CCMC's mission and vision.
Identify, lead, and direct process/quality improvement activities and measure program outcomes.
Oversee collaborations with other departments/divisions.
Build consensus for programmatic and financial growth through funding options and resource assessments.
Coordinate integration of activities within and outside the organization.
Lead and manage internal/external education offerings and competency requirements.
Develop and provide educational training based on current evidence and research.
Personnel Management
Manage reporting personnel, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, training, discipline, termination, evaluation, salary, payroll, and retention.
Address and resolve personnel management issues.
Create and maintain position descriptions and performance evaluation criteria.
Provide leadership and staff development through training, consultation, coaching, and communication.
Lead teams or staff not directly reporting to ensure program operations and achievement of strategic targets.
Develop team leads or program staff into effective leaders managing significant work portfolios.
Process/Quality Improvement
Develop and implement new methods, processes, and systems to improve team performance.
Enhance data quality, usability, and streamline reporting processes and deliverables.
Maintain high levels of effectiveness in daily operations.
Participate in leadership activities to align evidence-based practice, performance improvement, and research.
Design systems and improvement models to enhance health outcomes for patient populations.
Lead research efforts and present findings nationally.
Operations Management
Direct and coordinate daily operations of programs, departments, and facilities in collaboration with leadership.
Establish and monitor business processes for effective and efficient operations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve utilization, quality, and operations.
Resolve staffing, facilities, and equipment utilization issues.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Promote programmatic development, efficient work and patient flow, and a safe culture and environment.
Grant, Data, and Financial Management
Support the preparation and submission of funded projects via EPAS or online grant application portals.
Liaise between PI and subcontract sites for required documentation.
Guide PI in attaching required sponsor documentation.
Assist faculty with grant acquisition-related projects, reports, and correspondence.
Maintain records for annual evaluations and accreditation purposes.
Develop and manage annual operating budgets and implement financial controls.
Integrate financial management and decision-making across the department/division.
Oversee revenue cycle management, competitive pricing, program development/expansion, and monthly revenue reporting.
Education/ExperienceRequired:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
7 years of work experience in a related job discipline OR Master's degree and 3-5 years' experience

Experience within various Epic applications
