Federal Work Study, Student Worker – Health & Public Safety Front DeskOverview:
The Health and Public Safety Division is seeking a work-study student to serve as a Front Desk Student Assistant. Work study staff will assist the Executive Assistants with greeting and assisting students with navigating the various college online tools.
Duties:
Location: Clifton campus
Work Hours: Part-Time, no more than 20 hours per week Monday - Thursday between the hours of 9am and 4pm.

The Health and Public Safety Division is seeking a work-study student to serve as a Front Desk Student Assistant. Work study staff will assist the Executive Assistants with greeting and assisting students with navigating the various college online tools.
Duties:
- Assist in greeting guests and answering phones.
- Schedule appointments in Starfish.
- Assist students with navigating the various college online tools including My Services, Blackboard, Surge Mail and Starfish.
- Walk students to other areas of the college as needed, such as the Financial Aid or Registrar's office.
- Assist with scanning, filing documents and files.
- Retrieve mail and place mail in appropriate employee mailboxes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
- Ability to problem solve with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Computer savvy.
- Have completed a FAFSA for the current school year.
- Meet and continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Be an active student at Cincinnati State.
