Federal Work Study, Student Worker - ITP Language Lab Assistant Overview :
Under the direction of the ITP Language Lab Coordinator, the ITP Language Lab Assistant will support the operation of the lab. Details
Keep the lab open when the coordinator is out or otherwise unavailable
Monitor the ITP Virtual Lab Blackboard page for activity
Help students with general ITP equipment and resources
Take messages for the coordinator; answer basic questions regarding ITP
Provide American Sign Language conversations with students to enhance their fluency in signing.
Minimum Qualifications:
The hiring of student workers by Cincinnati State is premised on eligibility guidelines for federal work study employment: eligible applicants must be high school graduates or have attained a GED. Additionally, eligible applicants for work study positions at Cincinnati State must be at least 16 years of age on or before the date of hire. Eligible students must:
Have completed a FAFSA for the current school year.
Meet and continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.
Demonstrate financial need.
Be an active student at Cincinnati State.
Hourly Pay: $14.00per hour
Location: Clifton campus
Work Hours: Part-Time, no more than 20 hours per week Monday - Thursday between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Students may not work during their scheduled class times.
