Required Skills :
Work with the Contract and Project Management Office (CPMO) and the BPS to provide support to the Department s 911 functions.
Act as the Project Manager on the Next Generation 911 (NG-911) call routing project, overseeing the statewide transition, and ensuring timely implementation of NG-911 across all 67 counties.
Coordinate with counties and NGCS providers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems, and that each county has the necessary resources, training, and support for a successful transition. RFQ Monitor and report on the progress of NG-911 implementation, identifying and addressing any obstacles to ensure adherence to the plan and project timelines.
Attend all ECB meetings and provide support to the BPS staff with the information requested for the meetings.
Provide support for all internal NG-911 meetings as well as county and regional 911 meetings. Maintain a high standard of knowledge regarding current NG-911 efforts in the state and nationwide.
Work with the State of Florida counties and regions to support their NG[1]911 implementation, offering technical assistance and guidance to ensure compliance with the plan.
Assist both CPMO and the BPS in writing and coordinating the production of necessary reports and plans.
Attend and present at executive team briefings as necessary, providing updates on the progress of NG-911 implementation and any challenges encountered.
Provide support to both CPMO and the BPS on other 911-related tasks, as directed.
