Watch Technician

The Watch Technician will receive watches and use his/her knowledge to authenticate. They will assess the condition of the watch, confirming if it is running or if service is required. The Watch Technician will be responsible for battery replacements, cleaning, strap changes, link installation, and admin pertaining to each watch.

What You’ll Do

• Receive watches and confirm running condition
• Install links and change watch straps
• Update company admin system with details pertaining to each watch
• Implement solutions for repair, such as timing adjustments & cleaning movements
• Identify and authenticate watches (watch brand, watch model, movement brand, movement model)
• Diagnose quartz movement issues
• Change batteries and gaskets
• Clean external components of all non-leather-strap watches (case, crystal, bracelet) using appropriate method, including ultrasonic solution/machine and steamer
• Other duties as assigned

What You Have

• Demonstrated knowledge of how to set, adjust and activate all functions of watches, including final controls. Demonstrate ability to repair/replace movements, gaskets, crystals, cases & crowns.
• Ability to properly open watch cases and knowledge of proper tools associated with watch disassembly and reassembly
• Knowledge and ability to use repair tools and testing equipment.
• Diagnostic skills and knowledge of technical estimates and processes.
• Able to perform technical repair and service on multiple brands according to company guidelines
