CIRCLE OF LIFE HOSPICE is Hiring a Manager - Personal Home Care Near Bentonville, AR

The Personal Care Manger is responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring quality care, promoting growth, and maintaining stable and consistent positive operational performance of the personal care service line. These elements include securing quality talent, supervising and mentoring caregivers, refining, and overseeing key operational processes, assuring timely response to service requests, completing key financial functions such as payroll, and managing the department budget to ensure positive stewardship. The personal care manager will be responsible for creating staff objectives and expectations and ensuring staff carry out those duties. Building a strong team is critical to support both service excellence and growth. This position will need to mentor, teach, and support the team, while ensuring quality care is being delivered to our clients and families.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in management or marketing in a healthcare setting. Prefer management with marketing experience. Must have strong knowledge of administrative processes, and have experience in an office setting, preferably in home care.

  • Develop and establish new business referral sources consistently.
  • Successfully maintain current relationships with referral sources.
  • Act as a representative of Circle of Life personal care through attending community events, networking groups, and hosting informational presentations.
  • Promptly respond to leads generated from company website, placement agencies and the business development team, or any other source.
  • Provide a thorough presentation to all inquiries via phone calls and in-person visits.
  • Perform the complete "sign on" process with all clients and families.
  • Fully and accurately document all client information into software (including referral sources, inquiries, client information)
  • Demonstrate urgency when responding to client/potential client needs.
  • Stay current with company operations, including financial health - growth and budgetary goals.
  • Ensuring staffing coverage for all clients, including the on-boarding, training/orientation program and scheduling.
  • Work with HR staff to develop caregiver position descriptions, identify recruitment strategies, and interview for organizational fit.
  • Lead new hire caregiver orientation and on-going training programs including in-service.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution with clients, families and staff as needed serving as the point person for conflict and/or concern from clients and/or families requiring intervention.
  • Assures the operation has the structure and processes in place to respond 24/7 to care needs.
  • For major accounts like assisted living, spend time getting to know the leadership and management team to facilitate excellent communication.
  • Assure all health organizations (hospice, skilled care, etc.) connected with our client's case have regular feedback and information provided.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager on social media and online marketing initiatives and maintaining a supply of relevant marketing collateral materials.
  • Oversee and administrate billing functions including invoice creation and distribution; follow up; any billing circumstances with insurance as needed, and any other functions related to receivables.
  • Oversee and administrate payroll functions including review and submission of an accurate bi-weekly payroll file; monitor overtime and mileage; payroll budgeting; all other functions related to payroll administration.
  • Work cohesively with fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Be flexible, organized and work effectively and professionally under stress.
  • Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and patience when interacting with patients, families, co-workers, and members of the public.
  • Represents Circle of Life to the community in a positive manner.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, versatility and a positive attitude in integrating additional duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
