Quality Control Technician

Summary:

The incumbent is part of a team who are dedicated to; safety; the care of assets; and maintaining the efficiency needed to produce quality finished goods on time and in full. Quality control technician is a fast-paced position for a detail-oriented person. Good communication skills, computer skills and handling multiple tasks at once while focusing on accuracy.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sampling in-process products, incoming components and finished goods using the guidelines established in standard operating procedures
  • Weighing, mixing and testing of materials
  • Maintain quality records pertaining to training, compliance, corrective actions related to the facility
  • Data entry related to production and quality as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience preferred but not required
  • Must have effective basic computer skills, including Excel
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Physical Requirements:

  • Work requires normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
  • Corrected hearing and vision to the normal acceptable range
  • Production area is not climate controlled and may experience extreme temperatures
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Use of all PPE protection as required
  • 8-10 hours per day of standing and/or walking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
