Circus Circus Las Vegas is Hiring a Lead Front Desk Clerk Near Las Vegas, NV
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Supervise daily operational functions of the front desk consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, division, and property
Train and direct the hotel’s front desk staff
Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition and mutual respect
Ensure guests are treated courteously, complaints and problems resolved, and requests for special services carried out by monitoring staff with customer interaction.
Ensure expected standards are met for the Front Desk department
Maintain steady movement of the line by ensuring all staff members are at their assigned window/station
Perform clerk duties as needed
Ensure all guests and employees are treated with mutual respect
Respond to emergency situations accordingly
Perform other job related duties as requested
Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Work, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent customer service skills
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Circus-Circus standards
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to operate office equipment such as, telephones, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Excellent customer service skills.
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
Required:
Minimum of one (1) year Front Desk experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Requires mobility to move throughout the hotel
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
Preferred:
Knowledge of Collective Bargaining agreement
Bachelor’s Degree
Second Language
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
