What is this role? 

As a Quality Engineering Technician for Cirkul, you will interpret and analyze data based on engineering drawings and specifications while performing routine activities involved with the inspection, measurement, and testing of plastic injection molded components and assemblies. 

What does an average day look like? 

• Driving Results: Receive, inspect, and disposition incoming materials. Operate vision systems, microscopes, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Taking Ownership: Verify conformance of outgoing materials. Identify, collect, and sort samples or products.
• Making Decisions: Provide improvements in inspection and testing processes.
• Cultivating Relationships: Assist with the calibration, maintenance and measuring of laboratory equipment. Provide training to new or existing employees.
• Instilling Trust: Follow standard operating procedures, protocols, and approved test methods. Identify, collect, and sort samples or products.
• Customer Focus: Monitor and review continuous quality controls. Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.

Working only 14 days a month in a 4:3 rotating schedule. 

What background should you have? 

• 1-3 years of experience with measurement, inspection techniques, processes, and equipment
• Basic math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Excel
• Willing to work hard, stay until the job is complete, demonstrate resilience, and maintain a high attention to detail
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment a plus
• Experience with injection molded plastic a plus
