Cirrus Logic is Hiring an Analog Design Engineer (KD-385) Near Chandler, AZ
DUTIES:
- Design high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits, including innovative power converters and other circuitry in advanced complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) processes; develop advanced power conversion solutions and respective circuitry; develop through concept, architecture, design, and design integration into high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs); model solutions using tools such as Matlab, Simulink, and Spectre AMS Designer; transistor-level implementation of the design; lead all aspects of layout implementation and perform post-layout simulations and optimization; hands-on lab checkout, silicon learning, and debugging; support post-silicon activities including product validation, characterization, and production test.
- Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus seven years of relevant experience or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields plus three years of relevant experience is acceptable. In all cases, relevant experience must include three years of experience in power management integrated circuit design. In all cases, the position further requires a practical and theoretical understanding of circuit design theory; proficiency with Cadence design Tools, VerilogA and Matlab; the ability to validate a power management integrated circuit design on a lab bench; the ability to design a power management integrated circuit for testability; and the ability to write test plans for trim and calibration.
