Cirrus Logic is Hiring a Software Test Engineer (KD-384) Near Chandler, AZ
DUTIES:
- Craft and develop test plans for new features and products by translating requirements into test cases and incorporating customer feedback into test plans. Execute tests during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of the product. Find issues and triage/debug them with software teams. Develop and maintain automated test framework and regression test suites to optimize testing efficiency. Automate, build, and test pipelines using an automation server. Identify, report, and handle defects in a defect tracking system. Collaborate on test infrastructure planning to facilitate test execution. Present results to product owners, internal customers, and software developers to assist in resolving defects.
- Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus five years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus seven years of relevant experience or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields plus three years of relevant experience. In all cases, the position also requires the ability to understand HW-SW interaction and produce test plans to test how firmware drives the HW; the ability to create system level use cases to test the integration of different firmware components; and the ability to configure and execute firmware code on FPGAs.
