We serve national, regional and local homebuilders, real estate developers, and general contractors, providing long-lasting roofing, solar, and home battery storage solutions for single-family homes, multifamily dwellings, and selected commercial buildings.
We leverage that expertise to also provide New Construction-grade roofing, solar, and home battery storage solutions to existing homeowners.

Opportunity:We are currently looking for a Project Manager (PM) to manage our multifamily housing / commercial solar projects in specific areas throughout Northern California. Projects will range in size from 20 – 500 kW and will all be in new construction (we have a different division for retrofit projects) and require both rooftop and carport solutions. Working closely with various internal and external stakeholders, the PM will be responsible for managing the projects from internal project award to commissioning, permission-to-operate and placed-in-service.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and other relevant trade partners as the main point of contact during the project
- Own and drive all multi-family and commercial projects
- Create and drive project schedule and deliverables
- Oversee design and engineering of projects
- Manage and coordinate permits with permitting coordinator
- Manage utility applications
- Coordinate procurement of materials with purchasing manager
- Coordinate and provide direction to field crews
- Manage and coordinate invoicing
- Assist project developers with budgeting, bidding, designing, and contracting projects
- Good record keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to drive projects forward and overcome obstacles
- Estimating/budgeting experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Computer: Microsoft programs, Helioscope, and Energy Toolbase
- 3 years construction and commercial solar experience
- 2 years of project management or construction operations experience
- Solid understanding of the commercial and new construction project cycle
- Knowledge of residential and commercial building code
- Knowledge of Title 24 solar requirements for new construction
- Knowledge of multi-family PV systems and VNEM (Virtual Net Metering)
- Knowledge of commercial solar equipment and solutions: panels, racking, inverters, and batteries
- Knowledge of all system types: tilt and flat roof mount, ground mount, carports
- Knowledge of electrical code
- Knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems
