Citadel Roofing and Solar is Hiring a Roofing Superintendent Near Vacaville, CA
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Schedule and supervise crews on multiple job sites and locations.
- Schedule and supervise runners on multiple job sites and locations.
- Coordinate, organize and visit projects.
- Speak with residential customers regarding the project and dry rot.
- Inspect work to ensure compliance and quality workmanship.
- Order, coordinate and monitor delivery of proper materials.
- Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Train field staff, with an emphasis on employee development and safety assurance.
- Maintain documentation of individual projects, identify variances, monitor budgets and implement corrective action.
- Comply with company safety standards and practices to promote a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure weekly tailgate training is being done and appropriate paperwork is being completed and turned in.
- Coordinate inspections as needed.
- Review and approve weekly payroll.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years residential roofing experience required.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Prior project management and quality assurance experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle a variety of duties with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test and physical.
- Travel within the bay area/ Sacramento is required. Occasional travel to Vacaville as well.
