Citibank, N.A. seeks a Treasury Risk Officer for its Miami, Florida location.

Duties: Responsible for providing review and challenge to the Treasury business for liquidity, interest rate, risk management, investments, and capital. Collaborate with Finance CRO (FinCRO) Risk Managers in LATAM countries in the design, implementation, and review of liquidity topics, including annual assessments, limit framework, assumptions review, and data dashboards. Support regional FinCRO in the execution of projects related to liquidity, interest rate risk in the banking book, investments, and local regulations in LATAM countries. Evaluate and analyze market conditions and economic metrics to ensure risk exposure aligns with risk appetite framework. Review and challenge with FinCRO senior management over new specific transactions, liquidity management, and new products. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant corporate policies and controls. Identify emerging risks, conduct analysis, and necessary limit requests to accommodate balance sheet strategy in collaboration with Treasury and FinCRO senior management. Review and analyze the risk/return of the business risk assumed, including the impact on the bank’s capital, and evaluate the stress scenarios. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, or related field and 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Associate, Senior Business Analyst, Sales & Trading Program Analyst, or related position involving risk management for LATAM within the financial services domain. 3 years of experience must include: Financial analysis to analyze cash flows, liquidity ratios and positions, and economic metrics; Market factor impact analysis on balance sheet and investment products including bonds, certificates of deposits (CDs), government papers and notes; Balance sheet components, capital, surplus liquidity and cashflow statements; Provide review and challenge for the effectiveness of liquidity risk management processes, including liquidity stress test processes and assumptions; Performing analytics, including balance sheet analysis and forecasting, to identify emerging risks and determine appropriate investment portfolio strategy; Risk governance, including controls and risk appetite framework, to ensure business strategy is aligned with risk appetite; Compliance with U.S. and local regulatory policy and guidelines relevant to banking and treasury activities; Developing dashboards for senior management to provide overview of liquidity and interest rate risk exposure, Dv01 risk positioning, limit and trigger utilization, and market conditions using Tableau and PowerPoint; Project Management, including leading, planning, coordinating with regional and global partners and executing deliverables within timelines; and Liquidity and interest rate risk oversight and management.
