The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citis financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citis current and projected performance.
**Responsibilities:**
Collaborate with business and functional COO and CFO teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising the safety and soundness of the firm
Take a data driven approach to identify/hypothesize expense optimization opportunities, present initiatives with the rationale that is backed by improving business outcomes for the firm
For initiatives that are approved, work meticulously to define the critical path for execution ensuring issues and risks are evaluated with mitigation strategies
Develop and maintain project plans and manage tactical project requirements including resources, relationships, and tasks
Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate activities, dependencies, and connections of multiple-workstream engagements for senior executives and leaders throughout the organization
Independently think through and structure analysis plans and drive solutions to problems through identification of initial hypotheses, and creation of frameworks and methodologies
Lead the analysis of complex sets of data and business processes independently and guide, instruct, manage, and mentor experienced workstream leads
Guide the team to synthesize clear findings and recommendations from complex result sets using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods
Identify potential strategic and business transformational opportunities and analyzing them to determine financial and strategic impact; prioritize and develop detailed implementation plans
Drive business optimization through insightful analysis (identification, sizing, execution & tracking) and create/modify/manage presentations for business transformation programs
Drive the development of the best solutions and act as a key day-to-day point of communication to project sponsors and motivate them to take action
**Qualifications:**
10 years of relevant experience
Experience within financial services
Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets
Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge in additional systems including Oracle, Essbase, and SAP
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Bachelors degree/University degree required
Masters degree preferred

**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**
$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
