Focused on Liquidity Management Services (LMS) Controls and Regulatory Management Product Risk, this role is a business, product and risk specialist who supports the assigned products in managing both inherent and residual risks and executing related control responsibilities as a First Line of Defense function. This is a strategic role with broad responsibility to work with multiple stakeholders including TTS LMS product managers, In-Business Risk partners, Regulatory and Control teams, TTS Partner teams (Operations and Technology, Onboarding , Sales, Innovation) and second line partners (Risk, Finance, Compliance, ORM, Legal). The incumbent will directly work across product lifecycle including Assisting with New Product Launch, Assessing Product Design Risk, Ongoing Assessment of Controls via Managers Control Assessment (MCA) process, implementing applicable Regulatory Changes, Supporting Third Party / Vendor Management activities and leading reporting on risk related items to Governance forums like the Risk and Controls Forum (RCF). Additional activities include supporting Exams across all lines of defense, Issue Management including MRA raised by external regulators, and supporting Model and Booking Control Initiatives. This is a high visibility role and requires incumbent to constantly manage multiple competing priorities while delivering on regulatory commitments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Work collaboratively with Product team and other stakeholders to implement and ensure compliance to policies, standards, and procedures for the management of risk, including compliance risk in accordance with the Governance Policy requirements, day to day management for governance and oversight requirements.

_Risk Management_ Analyze inherent risk stripes across product lifecycle, assess / establish applicable preventive and detective controls to drive residual risk within TTS Risk Appetite

_Self-Assessment_ - Establish proactive self-assessment management discipline. Examine procedures for consistency and gaps relative to regulations in addition to impacts on customer experience. Monitor exceptions to dispute policy and identify drivers of exceptions.

_Issue Management_ - Drive issue identification and remediation including MRA impacting assigned products. Assist products in creation of issues/ CAPs in iCAPS as needed (issues and CAPs owned by Product/ Region business owner). Track issue and CAP status and progress across products and proactively escalate as appropriate to the Global Controls & Regulatory Management Head, TTS Product Heads and Global Partners (escalation as per procedures and key focus areas of the firm such as past due items, items at risk of missed target dates). Validate completed CAPs in the iCAPs system prior to validation by other control and assessment functions such as Internal Audit and ORM.

_Reporting_ Assess control drivers and work with Product Managers to lead the monthly Product Risk and Control forum. Manage risk-based reporting across assigned products to capture and escalate to governance forums in a timely manner. Leverage data to examine impacts to Customer Experience (Both Internal and External) and Regulatory breaks.

_Risk and Control Project Management_ - Coordinate and support the Business in the implementation of global, cluster and local regulatory, risk and control projects. Provide support for the implementation of process enhancements, control improvements, and best practices resulting from engagement with the Global In-Business Risk team and networking with peers.

Lead product workstreams as assigned to remediate actions coming out of firmwide consent orders.

Drive improvement in Regulatory and Audit scorecard metrics

Works closely with business partners on findings and makes recommendations on improving practices.

Take a forward-looking approach by maintaining industry and marketplace knowledge and provide input and guidance/influence where appropriate, internally and on relevant external committees/groups.

**Qualifications**

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

3 years minimum in a combination of Product, Risk Management, or Control Management-related role.

Demonstrated experience in transaction banking and/or operational environment.

Up-to-date understanding of key risk and control concepts, tools and trends relating to risk identification, rating and prioritization, mitigation, and reporting, Operational Loss treatment, Anti-Money Laundering/ Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF) as well as the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision Accords (Basel I / II / III) and the COSO framework.

Critical thinking is a key requirement of the role, as themes related to risks and issues around the organization will be identified and presented to key stakeholders.

Ability to manage through influence (e.g., management in the absence of reporting lines or with matrix reporting).

Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels within the organization including senior management, including effective influencing skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/request.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; ability to digest vast amounts of information and be able to succinctly present messages.

Good numerical and analytical skills. Ability to deal with data and derive insights. Advanced skills with Excel. Demonstrates a high level of analytical rigor in formulating objectives and measuring results.

Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.

Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down functional silos to optimize business results.

Knowledge of TTS business and products.

Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
