We are partnering with a leading global commodities trading firm that has transitioned from a boutique player to a top-tier industry powerhouse.

They have developed an in-house cloud-native data analytics platform, now being deployed globally. Their technology stack includes Python, AWS, Apache Beam, and Kafka. The company has created its own data layer and proprietary frameworks.

Job Overview:

The company seeks a highly intelligent Front Office Developer specializing in positions and PnL, who can design and develop their innovative AWS-native data analytics platform.

Using Python, the developer will build high-performance, high-throughput data pipelines focused on trading exchange, FX, and fundamental data. This platform handles real-time extraction, transformation, and analysis of data from hundreds of diverse sources, some generating up to 100,000 transactions per minute.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for the company's cloud-native data analytics platform.
• Collaborate with Traders, Quants, and business stakeholders to ensure the data pipelines support positions and PnL requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the data pipelines.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Maintain and improve the data pipelines as the data platform evolves.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3 years of experience in data engineering with strong Python development skills, including Pandas
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
