The role:
Cititec Talent has partnered with a boutique commodity trading company who looking to bring a Regulatory Reporting Specialist into the business to lead their regulatory reporting consolidation efforts, as they streamline their regulatory reporting solutions for Dodd-Frank and EMIR compliance.
What you’ll do:
- Consolidate regulatory reporting across multiple ETRM systems into one application.
- Ensure project compliance with Dodd-Frank and EMIR submission requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand data integration points.
- Use SQL for data analysis to validate transaction data accuracy.
- Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, and support.
- Develop project plans and ensure milestones are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Train and support compliance and reporting teams on new processes and systems.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and adapt reporting solutions accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Dodd-Frank regulatory reporting in financial or energy trading industries.
- Strong understanding of ETRM systems and reporting capabilities.
- Proficient in SQL and data analysis for transaction validation.
- Experienced in managing software projects in compliance or regulatory environments.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with reporting to exchanges like ICE (preferred)
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Dodd-Frank regulatory reporting, SQL, data analysis, and managing software projects within compliance frameworks.
