Citizens Memorial Hospital is recruiting an Intern to join our staff in our Revenue Integrity Department.

Revenue Integrity coordinates with all CMH departments to obtain and produce financial information for use by managerial / supervisory staff that will enhance their ability to make managerial decisions and to produce required reports for outside agencies.

A typical day will include: Facilitates negotiations with managed care payors for all CMH facilities including Hospital, Clinics, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health, Hospice and Home Medical Equipment. Monitors reimbursement received from managed care payors to ensure compliance with contracts. Works with Patient Accounts and Clinic staff on a test basis to ensure proper posting of adjustments. Works with IS staff and/or outside contractor to develop proration rules in Meditech; behaves in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of CMH and performs other duties as requested.

Job Requirements: 

Education: Preferred Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting

Experience: At least three years experience in accounting and data processing
