The successful candidate :
Hours : Part-time 7am - 3 : 30pm
Week 1 Tues, Wed, Sat
Week 2 Tues, Thurs, Sat
Hours subject to change based on business need. Flexibility needed
The Environmental Services Technician is a member of the City of Hope Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in assigned unit of the hospital.
This position operates equipment and utilizes necessary tools, products, and supplies to complete general cleaning duties with a goal of providing a safe, attractive, environment for patients, visitors, and employees within the hospital.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning light fixtures and furniture and emptying trash for assigned unit.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience : Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
Strong Customer services skills
Ability to work well on a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
