City Net Homeless Services is Hiring a Homelessness Program Coordinator Near Belfair, WA

**Supporting Homeless Individuals and Families**
Our organization is dedicated to providing case management and support services to individuals and families facing street-level homelessness. We focus on connecting unsheltered homeless individuals to sustainable housing through street outreach and personalized goal setting strategies. Our team utilizes problem-solving techniques, empathy, and verbal de-escalation skills to create a safe and secure environment for our clients. Additionally, we collaborate with various entities to ensure clients have access to essential services such as medical and mental health treatment, counseling, and permanent housing.
**Key Responsibilities**
  • Offer care and service coordination in partnership with nonprofits, County and City entities, law enforcement, behavioral health services, and medical providers.
  • Work towards developing long-term housing plans with clients.
  • Implement Housing First and Harm Reduction service models.
**Work Schedule and Environment**
  • Expected work hours consist of five 8-hour workdays (40 hours per workweek).
  • Schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Main work location is in Anaheim, with travel to Norwalk and surrounding areas.
  • Work primarily conducted in the field, including local neighborhoods, shelters, encampments, and office environments.
**Requirements**
  • Passion for ending homelessness.
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of the importance of data collection and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to work with diverse backgrounds.
**Desired Qualifications**
  • Spanish fluency.
  • Experience with individuals affected by homelessness, substance use disorders, and mental health concerns.
  • Proficiency in maintaining confidential client records.
