Non-Certified Police Candidate Testing

$23.40 per hour starting pay

Join our team of professionals and serve alongside one of Alabama's best law enforcement agencies. The Alabaster Police Department is seeking elite candidates with a strong desire to protect and serve the community!

Application Special Instructions

*Non-Certified candidate testing will be held 9/30/2024 at 8:00 am - APD building located at 100 11th Ave Southwest, Alabaster 35007 to include a Written Test (all candidates regardless of education background) takes a basic written test and must make a 70 or higher to progress to the Physical Agility/Ability Test on the same day. Closed toed shoes required for physical agility testing. 

* APOST adopted the Basic Abilities Test (Work Keys Assessment) for all candidates that do not hold an associate degree or higher .

-Non-Certified candidates that do not hold an associate degree or higher degree, must register at: Jeffstate.edu to sit for the work keys assessment prior to the application deadline. Failure to upload certification or present the day of testing will lead to disqualification.
