City of Alvin is Hiring a Code enforcement officer Near Alvin, TX

Job Announcement :

Under general supervision, performs inspections, research, enforcement and follow up duties on various code and ordinance violations related to the maintenance of public health and safety.

Issues violation and correction orders and permits and licenses as appropriate. The incumbent must be able to perform a full range of complex tasks within a framework of established procedures with only occasional instruction or assistance.

Reports to the Code Enforcement Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications :

Requires a vocational / technical diploma with training in health and nuisance codes and / or a minimum of three years of responsible health and safety inspections experience and / or building construction or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Salary :

Starting Salary is $40,427
