Position Purpose
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES : The Lead Cook prepares already planned menus, recipes and meals for daily operations and special events and supervises other kitchen staff.
Job Functions / Scope of Authority
check changes, scheduling, leave detailed information on problems, food or equipment.
REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have basic knowledge of health department standards and food handling and preparation. Must have working knowledge of kitchen equipment, i.
e. steamers, oven, slicers, knives, etc. Formal culinary training preferred. Minimum 2 to 3 years of cooking and supervisory experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
