The Cart Staff works closely with the Assistant and Golf Professional on the outside golf operations to assure a smooth transition for members and their guest around the club. Primary responsibility falls on service to members, efficiency of cart loading, cart cleanliness, staging, and storing.
Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery, washing the range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability.
Responsible for the collection, organization, and cleanliness of all range baskets used for ball transportation.
Help keep all working areas neat and clean, free of trash and waste.
Inspect the condition of golf carts, responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart condition and fueling.
Assist golf shop personnel in the tournament setup of golf carts and range operations.
Refer all problems/complaints to a manager and/or assistant manager.
Tracking and reporting the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations of their given areas.
Perform other duties as assigned or required by management.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, bending, reaching, hand dexterity (grasping, holding, keyboarding, repetitive movements), reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, seeing (near and/or far, color, depth, field of vision), hearing, using the telephone, contact with government officials and the general public, and working inside and alone. Work regularly requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally requires wet, humid conditions (non-weather) and working near moving mechanical parts; work is generally in a moderately noisy location.
