APPLICATION DEADLINE: Open until Filled Performs manual tasks and operate assorted equipment for the assigned department. Responsibilities include maintaining designated City grounds/property, buildings and structures.

DUTIES: Maintains a variety of facilities, including, but not limited to: Lampkin Park, Hobson Grove Park, Lovers Lane Soccer Facility, Kummer Little Recreation Center and Carr Gymnasium. Work responsibilities include but are not limited to: keeping playing fields and courts ready for play, cleaning restrooms and dugouts, picking up trash, marking off fields for game play, cleaning storage rooms and offices, as well as filling in batters boxes and pitchers mounds. Winter responsibilities also include supervision of youth and adult basketball practices and games.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires knowledge of rules and regulations for softball, baseball, basketball, and volleyball (depending on season); and ability to operate field maintenance equipment; High School Diploma or GED; First Aid & CPR certification a plus; Age 18 .

SALARY: Pay Grade 30; $13.50/hr;

HOURS: 20-25 hours per week, primarily evenings (during the winter months) and weekends. Scheduled hours may vary in summer months.
