Performs server, network, Public Safety technology, Microwave Radio, and system support functions on segments of the computer environment, including planned and emergency maintenance; performance and security analysis; and monitoring, tuning, and implementing new products and procedures. Plan, implement, oversee and maintain server and network infrastructures and projects. Analyzes emerging technology and makes recommendations for constant improvements to network and infrastructure services and capabilities.

Systems Administrator II - Hiring Rate: Up to $102,650.45 D.O.E.

Perform highly responsible administrative and technical work, including managing, securing, analyzing, designing, testing, evaluating, and troubleshooting server, network, Public Safety technology, Microwave Radio, and system support functions on the technology ecosystem, including planned and emergency maintenance; performance and security analysis; and monitoring, tuning and implementing new products and procedures. Plan, implement, oversee, and maintain server, network, and security infrastructure projects. Analyzes emerging technology and recommends constant improvements to network and server infrastructure services and capabilities. Serves as next-level support for other support technicians.
