Utilities Office Supervisor

The City of Chippewa Falls (Pop. 14,629) is accepting applications for the position of Utilities Office Supervisor. This position manages and directs the Utilities office activities, provides customer service and manages three enterprise funds. Responsibilities include ensuring operations are compliant with the Public Service Commission, Wisconsin State Statutes and City of Chippewa Falls municipal codes and resolutions. Maintenance of three enterprise funds includes accounts receivables, accounts payables, journal entries, payroll, utility billing and collection, investments, budgeting and reporting. Responsible for preparing rate study information for annual Public Service Commission report.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance; and three-to five years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. Qualified candidate must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Products and their application to accounting and finance; be self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills; have good knowledge of the principles and practices of finance and payroll; possess strong analytical ability and customer service skills; and have the ability to work independently. Salary is $56,795.59-$62,475.15 DOQ.
