$500 Hiring Incentive to be paid upon completion of training and OLETS certification.
$1,200 - $2,400 annual educational incentive available for degree holders from an accredited college or university.

Performs a variety of clerical, administrative and technical work in receiving and dispatching routine and emergency information. Maintains official records related to the Communications Center and Jail. Assists in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures and practices of the Coweta Police Department. Responsible for the care and custody of prisoners while they are in jail in accordance with Oklahoma Jail Standards. Responsible for the staff within their assignment.

Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs and administers the operation and activities of the Communications Center in dispatching emergency services. Supervises and coordinates the work of subordinate staff and performs related duties as required.

Works under the supervision of the Police Chief or designee.
Supervision Exercised
Exercises general supervision over all Communication Officers/Jailers within the Coweta Police Department.
