Positions available include Dance Instructor and Pom & Dance Instructor.
Dance Instructors teach beginner to intermediate/advanced dance classes to children ages 3 – 14. A variety of dance classes are offered, including tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary. Each dance class consists of two of the dance genres listed. Participants perform two routines at the season-ending recital.
Pom & Dance Instructors teach recreational pom and dance classes to children ages 5 and up. Skills taught include technique, turns, leaps, kicks, formations, transitions, and teamwork. Participants perform at a high school basketball game and at the season-ending recital.
Dance Schedule:
Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30 – 8:00 pm (4 classes/night)
Tuesdays 4:30 – 6:30 pm (2 classes/night)
Pom and Dance Schedule:
Thursdays 4:30 – 8:00 pm (4 classes/night)
The season runs from the end of September to the beginning of March (20 weeks).
Instructors may choose how many classes taught depending on availability.
Classes are held at De Pere High School, 1700 Chicago Street, and the De Pere Community Center, 600 Grant Street.
