The City of Golden Valley is seeking experienced, community-focused leaders in the public safety industry to join our Police Department! Police Officers with at least one year of sworn patrol experience may be eligible for:
$5,000 – Completion of FTO
$5,000 – Completion of Probationary Period (typically one year)
Increased Starting Wage:
1-2 Full Years of Experience = Step 2 ($79k annually education and other benefits)
3-5 Years of Experience – Step 3, 4, or 5 ($83k-$96k education and other benefits)
5 years – Step 6 or 7 ($96k - 100k education and other benefits)
