About the Position:
The Warehouse Administrative Coordinator manages both administrative and warehouse tasks to ensure efficient operations within the City's supply and inventory management system. Key administrative duties include overseeing inventory control systems, maintaining stock records, generating reports, managing warehouse documentation, assisting with budget processes, reconciling deposits, and coordinating meetings and events. The role also involves processing expenditure requests, assisting with accounts payable and purchasing card transactions, and scheduling various functions. In the warehouse, the Coordinator supports centralized supply warehousing and distribution by purchasing, receiving, stocking, and issuing materials and supplies. This position is crucial for the effective management of the City’s inventory and supplies.
About the General Services Department:The General Services Department was established in 2018 to provide high-quality internal management services, enabling City departments to efficiently fulfill their community missions at a reasonable cost. These services include fleet maintenance, procurement, facilities and real estate management, warehousing, project team, street maintenance, stormwater management, weed abatement, and other support services. Additionally, the General Services Department directly manages enterprise operations, such as Parking, Golf Courses, and Solid Waste and Recycling.
