The City of Henderson is excited to announce an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Utility Maintenance Contract Specialist in the Department of Utility Services. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. 
The Department of Utility Services provides vital water and wastewater services to our citizens while protecting the environment, health, and prosperity of our community.  
Under general direction, this position coordinates maintenance contracts for the Department of Utility Services including the development and management of budgets, contracts, agreements, procurement documents, and associated reports; and performs related duties as assigned.

  • Competitive Salary Range of $75,505.54 - $113,258.30 annually; salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity*

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
  • Four (4) years combined experience in purchasing, contract management and/or inventory control
  • Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
  • Desirable: Experience administering maintenance related contracts for a municipal agency
