JOB OBJECTIVE: To develop and supervise the aquatics activities and programs at the Jim Dailey Fitness and Aquatics Center for the City of Little Rock.

• Must possess certification as a Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) from the American Red Cross, before employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment. 
• Must possess certification as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) from the National Swimming Pool Foundations, OR Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) from the National Recreation and Park Association before employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
• Must possess American Red Cross Community First-Aid and Safety Instructor certification OR American Red Cross Standard First Aid Instructor AND American Red Cross Community CPR Instructor Certifications, or equivalent certifications, within (90) ninety days of employment and maintain certifications for the duration of employment in this position. 
• Must possess certification as an Aquatics Instructor from a Nationally Accredited Association before employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
