City of Manitou Springs is Hiring a Lead Mobility and Parking Ambassador Near Manitou Springs, CO

Performs and oversees kiosk maintenance; ensures all paper is replaced, batteries charged, and general functions operational.
Issues parking citations via handheld computer; ensures other parking ambassadors are issuing correct citations and validates ticketing activities.
Assists with collections and tracks monies gathered; pulls coins from canisters and runs reports; takes deposits to the bank.
Starts processes for towing and immobilizing vehicles; issues tickets as necessary and when needed, marks vehicles and tags for tow or immobilization and places the boot on the car.
Prepares notices for events; prints fliers and places them on vehicles or prints signs to wrap on cones to place in parking spots to notify the public of upcoming events.
Installs and maintains parking signs; oversees the cleaning up of sign pollution and adds signage as needed.
Trains and educates new employees; provides training on kiosk maintenance, issuing of citations, and performing other daily operations.
Identifies problems and writes incident reports in accordance with applicable ordinances and departmental policies or procedures.
Assists with office support and other administrative activities; issues parking permits to residents, processes payments for tickets and permits, and evaluates ticket appeals.
Provides general direction, scheduling, and support to other staff and necessary.
Prepare and maintain accurate, comprehensive, and concise reports and records required by the position.
Performs all other work as needed or assigned.
