This position is a member of the Public Services Department – Water/Sewer Division and reports directly to the Public Services Director/Deputy City Administrator.The Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) Utilities Manager serves as a leadsman over other utility workers and subcontractors in the distribution and sewer divisions– delegating and giving directions as needed, performs a variety of labor-intensive duties related to the construction, inspection, maintenance, and improvement of water distribution and sewer systems. This requires technical and supervisory skills, as well as a safety sensitive position that requires special knowledge of water distribution and sewer systems and requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL).
