The City of Monterey Park is recruiting for a Water Production Systems Operator to be part of the Public Works Department's Water Production Division Team!This position will require you to work shifts on weekends and during emergency conditions. This recruitment will be open in a continuous basis and may close at any time with or without notice.Under general direction, the Water Production System Operator operates, maintains and repairs control systems, wells and pumping plants; including Liquid Phase Granulated Activated Carbon (LPGAC) systems; ION exchange treatment systems and air strippers treatment plants, and performs other related duties as required.
