ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

  • Pay Considerations – The salary range for the position is $81196.77 - $131143.85. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
  • Work Schedule – This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day (36 hour work week), Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.

THE ROLE
Under general direction, monitors, coordinates, facilitates, and troubleshoots the high priority project development review process in order to meet the needs of the development community; serves as a liaison between the city and the developer; manages all development-related concerns; and mediates internal conflicts among Land Development, Public Works, and Utilities departments with responsibility for major segments of the priority projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in business, public administration, development, construction management, architecture, engineering or a field related to the essential functions.
  • Five (5) years comprehensive development project management experience with industrial, mid- to high-rise commercial office buildings, large scale commercial or office projects, or other large scale development projects, to include plan reviewing and overall project responsibility.
  • Equivalency: A combination of formal education and directly related work experience may substitute for the degree; the City assesses one (1) year of full-time work experience equivalent to one (1) year of education.

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Pre-Employment Screening – Selected candidates for this position are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes but is not limited to local & state criminal history check; federal criminal history checks via submission of fingerprints; and drug screening. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Background check processing may take 2 to 3 months to complete.
