The purpose of this position is to provide customer service assistance to the citizens and general public for the department.This is accomplished by greeting customers and citizens, addressing citizen and customer concerns, directing incoming callers and visitors, providing customers with requested information and forms per department function, filing confidential documents, completing data entry, maintaining filing systems, distributing mail to appropriate persons, accepting payments and generating receipts for department services and entering information into computer systems.Other duties include copying documents and forms as necessary, completing special projects as assigned and interacting with other employees and citizens.This position does not provide direction to other employees.
