Under minimal direction, this position provides professional support to law enforcements. This position is a supporting role to both employees in the field and office staff.
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
 

• Work collaboratively with other staff to provide excellent and responsive public service
• Ability to communicate effectively and defuse volatile situations.
• Responding to non-hazardous calls for service
• Patrolling neighborhood and parks and issue citations if appropriate
• Knowledge of animal control; assisting with wild animals and transporting animals
• Strong writing skills for reports.
• Basic knowledge of laws, parking violations, and city ordinance.
• Help patrol members with administrative tasks, cleaning vehicles and facility.
• Provide backup coverage when needed
• Represent the city in a courteous, responsive, and professional manner in all interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned
