We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Secretary III within the Strategic Information Bureau. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, we encourage you to apply. As a Secretary III, you will play a vital role in our bureau, assisting with various tasks such as greeting visitors, managing calendars, drafting correspondence, creating reports, and providing exceptional customer service. Your contributions will directly impact our department's efficiency and effectiveness.
Specialized Duties Also Include
  • Using the C-Cure and Diamond II badging systems.
  • Creating and printing Police employee badges and giving access to Police facilities.
  • Working with SAP/ E-procurement system software.
  • Ordering supplies, creating shopping carts for invoices, and maintaining inventory for the bureau.
Working schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Working location: 620 W. Washington St, Phoenix, AZ.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Ability to:
    • Handle multiple and conflicting work priorities.
    • Learn quickly, multitask well, prioritize effectively, and support Middle Managers and/or Executive level staff with effective communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of computer database applications and the ability to maintain and query data.
  • Proficiency using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
SALARY Pay Range: $18.16 to $28.17 per hour.
Hiring Range: $18.16 to $25.56 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Three years of progressively responsible secretarial experience.
  • including training in typing and the use of modern office software and equipment.
  • Other combinations of experience and education which meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

Preferred QualificationsThe minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
  • Experience with/in:
    • Using financial procurement systems, such as SAP/SRM.
    • Office Suites Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Badging, using the C-Cure and Diamond II badging systems.
    • Providing customer service.
    • Managing inventory.
