Provo City is looking for a part-time Recreation Leader to work with the special events team at Provo Recreation Center. Qualified, civic-minded individuals are encouraged to apply.

What is the compensation?
$14.00 per hour

Monday through Saturday. Flexible hours with actual schedule to be determined by the hiring manager.
This position requires office work and outdoor recreation work with sun and some adverse weather exposure. May include exposure to high-stress situations or environments , including contact with the public in confrontational or uncomfortable circumstances.
Requires the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
What is the selection process?
This position is open until filled and will be closed when sufficient, qualified applications to proceed with a competitive selection process have been received (at least seven days).
Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.
If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal.
Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
