Summary
Under close supervision, provides assistance with the after-school program, community recreation program, and special events for children, teens, adults, seniors, and other patrons. Assist the Recreation Leader in the coordination, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of recreation programs; and perform all related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (Education will be verified) and six (6) months of related working experience. A valid Florida driver's license is required.
Florida Department of Children and Families forty (40) hour introductory childcare training certification is required or the ability to obtain within ninety (90) days of hire date.
CPR and First Aid certifications are required or the ability to obtain within thirty (30) days of hire date.
Passing a Level II background screening from the State of Florida is required.
This position is represented by the Service Employees International Union.
