To be considered for this position, you must meet the minimum qualification listed below:

Graduation from a recognized college with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; AND

1. Two years experience as an Engineer in major water system design projects (1 year of experience as an Engineer in major water system construction project may be substituted for 1 year of design experience); AND
2. Two years supervisory experience in professional engineering design activities.

NOTE: Acceptable supervisory experience may be exampled by responsibility for supervision of professional and technical engineering, design staff, and concurrent coordination with internal and external agencies.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Possession of a New York Professional Engineer's License is required at the time of appointment.
2. Possession of a New York State Class D operator’s license is required at the time of appointment.
