The City of Sioux Falls Health Department in downtown Sioux Falls, SD is accepting applications for a part-time Dental Hygienist at Falls Community Health clinic.

Falls Community Health is a community medical and dental clinic for all ages. The goal of FCH is to reduce health inequalities by providing high quality, accessible, and affordable health care. FCH serves patients at four sites: the main site and three school-based sites, and all services are available to residents regardless of their ability to pay.

JOB SUMMARY

Perform professional dental care in the field of dental hygiene, including all related clinical procedures and broad responsibility for clinical and community dental health education activities.

This position is a regular part time employee, working 32 hours per work. The position is eligible for time-off benefits, insurance, and retirement. Benefit accruals will be prorated based on the reduced schedule.

Minimum Qualification Standards:

  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school is required.
  • Two (2) years' experience is preferred; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
  • Hold a valid license to practice dental hygiene in South Dakota. Hold a valid local anesthesia license and valid nitrous oxide license.

HIRING RANGE DOQ : $31.78 - $45.11 hourly with up to $4,000 for hiring incentive
