Job Description:

Our Personal Trainers provide customized fitness programs to our members while educating and guiding them on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and attaining a healthier lifestyle. Clients sign up with a personal trainer to be motivated, educated, and held accountable while working towards their fitness goals. By definition, a personal trainer is a fitness professional possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise and fitness program design, instruction, and assistance for the purpose of reaching personal health and fitness goals.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; or Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sales experience with proven results preferred.
  • Current CPR/AED Certification and basic First Aid knowledge.
  • Certificates, licenses, and registrations required: National Personal Training, Coaching, Sports Related, or College Degree Certifications.
  • Computer skills required; Microsoft Office Suite; ABC Financial Systems, ADP Time and Attendance

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to build clientele by executing Crunch-One Kickoffs and building value/results during training sessions for new and existing clients.
  • Ensures accurate administration of client programs, including DotFIT nutrition/supplement sales, Health Coaching platforms, Optivia Nutrition, MyZone, and any other program development as implemented under the direction of the Chief Development Officer.
  • Assists in all revenue generating activities, including but not limited to - complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body fat tables, seminars, workshops, etc.
  • Ability to promote the value and importance of our proprietary Personal Training platform to our guests and members.
  • Responsible for achieving personal monthly revenue objectives set forth by the company.
  • Possess an enthusiastic, passionate, friendly, and ambitious personality.
  • Must attend all staff meetings/required trainings and maintain all current/required certifications.
  • Completes any additional ongoing education with respect to all programs, health and fitness, personal training.
  • Exemplifies team player actions that will help throughout the whole gym experience including, but not limited to, club cleanliness and assisting with customer questions and concerns; taking guest tours and sell memberships and personal training services.
  • Maintains a high level of personal health and fitness, is a role model for the staff and members in the club.
