CITY RESCUE MISSION is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor Near Jacksonville, FL

Under limited supervision, responsible for the promotion of the physical, social, emotional, and personal welfare of the men and women who are residents in the City Rescue Mission's Crossroads Program through the administration and management of the Crossroads Clinical Team. This position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the administrative and treatment functions as they relate to the success of the program's objective. Also, responsible for the coordination of services provided to both Level One and Level Two clients and for the supervision and direction of staff.

Responsibilities: This job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. It is intended to identify the major responsibilities and requirements of this position. You may be requested to perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated in this job description.

1. Promote a positive and spiritually uplifting atmosphere by fully implementing and demonstrating our Grace Based Model of response to the community we serve and staff.

2. Ensures thorough knowledge base of policies, procedures, and empirical practice to properly manage staff.

3. Conduct orientation and developmental programs for assigned staff and assume responsibility for teaching supervisors in a manner which will aid in acquisition of knowledge and skill; provide expert and technical leadership to enable success of all assigned program.

4. Ensure program is operated as a therapeutic community that uses a cognitive behavioral treatment modality in programming and addresses criminogenic thinking through risk and needs assessment and the use of evidence-based practices for reducing recidivism.

5. Provide clinical and technical supervision to counselors assigned to Crossroads program.

6. Ensure appropriate case management and counseling in accordance with Department of Children and Families licensing standards.

7. Ensures resident case files are maintained in accordance to the Department of Children and Families requirements.

8. May be responsible for a counseling load for up to 5 residents, if necessary.

9. Ensure all residents undergo a bio-psycho-social assessment within required timeframes.

10. Ensure contract requirements are met for residents identified for co-occurring disorders services.

11. Ensure all casework services for all residents are completed from beginning of service to end of service.

12. Assist in making sure all Crossroads staff complete and maintain training hours to meet Department of Children and Families and Department of Corrections requirements.

13. Ensure all Counseling and Therapeutic Activities are met in both the Intensive Treatment and the Employment Re-entry Component of the program.

14. Ensure educational and vocational education with life skills and workforce development classes occur.

15. Ensure appropriate discharge planning is completed on every resident that includes after care and continued programming.

16. Reviews all files and ensures compliance at minimum of once per month; making appropriate entries related to significant offenders.

17. Coordinate work details, extra duty work assignments, and community service hours for those who need it.

18. Coordinate information for service billings, reports, and information with the Department of Corrections

19. Ensure contract performance measures are met; Department of Corrections contract monitoring and Department of Children licensures monitoring visits are successful and that all criteria meet and exceeds requirements.

20. Ensure a systematic quality assurance program is applied to evaluate client care and program services.

21. Ensure proper management of and oversight of resident funds to include subsistence payments and custodial funds.

22. Establish and uphold sound rules and regulations governing the operations.

23. Lead staffing to deal with resident disciplinary processes.

24. Assist in providing outreach to referral sources to ensure 100% capacity for programs; ensure all referrals made to the program have been channeled appropriately.

25. Assist in maintaining waitlist, referral list, determine appropriateness of referral and coordinates new placements with tentative move in dates.

26. Support State Street Resident Assistant Coordinator to ensure proper coverage and perform duties as assigned to provide healthy and safe environments.

27. Assist in overseeing building safety routines (evacuations) and ensure all first aid kits are stored properly in designated areas at both the New Life Inn and Women Center- would like to make a duty of the RA Coordinator

28. Conduct Annual Performance Reviews, disciplinary report, and keep staff informed of all policies, procedures, and City Rescue Mission upcoming events.

29. Oversee and organize weekly meetings with City Rescue Mission's New Life Inn Leadership team.

30. Work in collaboration with other CRM departments to coordinate Annual Holiday Public Luncheons (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter) and CRM events.

31. When interacting with persons served and community may share Christian faith, offer spiritual support, or pray as a witness to your personal testimony and the mission of CRM. Be willing to perform all listed and other related duties to the furtherance of the gospel of Christ in relation to the City Rescue Mission and promote a positive and spiritually uplifting atmosphere by fully implementing and demonstrating our Grace Based Model in response to the community we serve and staff.

Qualifications:

1. MSW or MA in Counseling, Addictions or related field strongly preferred. Bachelor’s in counseling, Addictions or Abuse Counseling, or related field. CAP considered a plus.

2. Licensed in State of Florida.

3. One to two years’ experience in residential addictions program preferred.

4. Three to five years’ experience in addictions counseling desired.

5. One to two years’ supervisory experience.

6. Must affirm the Statement of Faith and Position Statements

7. Must agree to abide by the Code of Ethics

· Understands Christian principles, exemplifies them, and shares with other staff and persons served.

· Maintains an exemplary Christian lifestyle, affirms the CRM Statement of Faith, Code of Ethics and Position Statements.

· Enjoys people and can work with diverse populations.

· Can work in harmony with other staff.

· Ensures strict confidentiality is maintained.

· Ability to work under minimal supervision.
